    An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join a global market leader in Eyecare.  Join this results driven team as a Territory Manager for our Pharmaceutical division and help realise your career potential.  Your region will cover the South but be focused on London with travel beyond for high potential accounts.  This Sales role will report into the Business Unit Head for Pharma & Aesthetics.  You will be primarily focused NHS and Private Hospitals with the aim to achieve the desired growth and profitability.  Working with senior stakeholders in our target clients, you are key to ensure Bausch + Lomb are ahead of the competition across all our ophthalmology and allergy prescription products.

    Responsibilities

    • Development and implementation of territory business plan to grow the business
    • Developing new sales of Pharma portfolio in prospect accounts
    • Maintaining & growing existing business by utilizing excellent account management skills
    • Detailing products to consultants as well as other relevant clinical staff either individually or in groups
    • Support key industry meeting by stand attendance
    • Training of NHS staff as necessary to drive product adoption
    • Working closely with all other stakeholders in accounts to ensure complete account cover and to complete the sales process
    • Working closely with Marketing, External Commercial teams to identify and close sales into NHS and other structures to gain new business

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Proven sales ideally within healthcare or technical environment
    • Ideally graduate level or equivalent professional qualification
    • Knowledge of NHS structures and hospital sales
    • Significant demonstrable ability to grow business in a sales environment
    • Demonstrable ability to sell complex products in a clinical environment
    • Ability to forecast predicted sales accurately
    • Ability to effectively network within a clinical or hospital environment
    • Ability to demonstrate a significant level of expertise in a chosen field and be able to put this across to clinical staff
    • Ability to learn about competitor businesses and products and be able to sell professionally against them
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organisational skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Customer service orientation (internal and external customers)
    • Essential to have medical sales experience, ideally in Pharma

     

    Desirable:

    • Ability to gain complex clinical knowledge of products and be able to pass this on to clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels
    • Ability to gain knowledge of complex selling processes such as tenders or contractual agreements
    • Recognised sales training either from healthcare, FMCG, or other marketplaces
    • ABPI qualification
    • Ideally graduate level or equivalent professional qualification
