An administration opportunity has arisen in our Surgical Business at Bausch + Lomb a market leader in eye care. Reporting to the Business Unit Head you will be responsible for Diary Management, efficient running and organisation of events and sales meetings, Marketing Administration and will be fully involved in administrative duties related to all aspects of the business.
For the right combination of skills we would happily consider applicants looking for a Part Time arrangement providing you are able to work 5 days a week.
You are providing exceptional administrative support for the UK Business Unit Head including diary management, processing incoming and outgoing correspondence, co-ordinating and supporting business unit meetings and events, and taking minutes at Management Meetings, adopting a proactive approach to support the management of the UK Surgical Business.
You will also support the UK Surgical Marketing Team, including – supporting internal and external meeting organisation, ensuring strict compliance rules are adhered to, raising purchase orders, organising mail merges, supporting production of promotional materials, supporting educational courses, and other general administration, TBD.
Additionally you will provide general administrative support of the UK Surgical Management Team to support the management of the UK surgical business. Including arrangements for travel, meetings and production of correspondence.
We consistently look for proactive implementation and continual improvement of standardised administrative processes to both external customers and internal colleagues in the UK business. This will require the individual to act as the first point of contact and then assume responsibility for distributing/ actioning incoming correspondence and producing and distributing outgoing correspondence. Activities to include:
You will also be responsible for the organisation of sales team meetings and regional customer facing meetings/exhibitions. This will incorporate sourcing venues, confirming requirements, travel arrangements (International Meetings) sourcing/ logistics of materials required, literature, and exhibition stands etc. This will not incorporate arrangements for sales team members on an individual basis.
This role will interact with the Business Unit Head, Marketing Manager, Regional Sales Managers, Operations managers, Key Account Managers, Territory Managers, External Customers and other administrative staff within the wider company.
